The first step in the process is to talk to you and gather some information about your site. For example:
We will create a high level plan of your site, listing the relevant pages and content you have asked for and the order they would occur on the site. This is essential to ensure that the navigation of your site is easy to use. It also allows you to review and agree the basic structure of the site prior to development.
Development of the site
This is when we start to create your web site using the information you gave us at the initial consultation and site map stages. We will work closely with you to provide a tailored design which matches all of the information and specifications you have given us. We will also rigorously test all of the functionality within your site to ensure that everything is working as it should be.
We will give you access to a draft on-line version of your site so that you can review the content. We'll then check with you to see if there are any amendments that need to be made and we will update the site accordingly. This may need to happen a few times to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the look and feel of your site as well as the content.
When you are happy with all of the content within the site we will ask a designated representative (or representatives if required) of your company to sign it off as completed which basically means that there are no further changes to be made prior to go live.
Once all of the above has been completed, we will then upload the site to your hosting account. This means that your site is live on the web.
When your site is live and up and running we will then provide the CMS training to your designated site editor at a time and date that suits you.
Management and maintenance of your site
Although you will be able to update the site yourself, you may decide you would like us to make some changes further down the line. If this is the case then we can provide pricing for individual changes or ongoing management packages. We also provide reliable annual maintenance plans for your hosting and .co.uk domain name.
